André Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octávio Maia in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Ericeira Filipe Team's Lucas Moutinho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Figueiredo. André Figueiredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Pedroso in the 21st minute of play forced Ericeira Filipe Team's goalkeeper Anselmo Salazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ericeira Filipe Team booed when Montanelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Moutinho made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 25thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but André Figueiredo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 27th minute Carlos Tomé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Salazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Pedroso in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Moutinho in the 33rd minute of play forced Montanelas's goalkeeper André Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ericeira Filipe Team's Carlos Tomé got a free kick in the 34th minute. With 38 minutes on the clock, Afonso Novais commited a dangerous tackle. 53 minutes into the match, Montanelas's Afonso Moniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Salazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ericeira Filipe Team's zone, Afonso Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Salazar came out of the goal and Afonso Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 59 played minutes Ericeira Filipe Team got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Tomé. Afonso Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Anselmo Salazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Manuel Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anselmo Salazar made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Afonso Moniz sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Anselmo Salazar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Egídio Valadão kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilídio Estrela during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
