Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Santiago Seixas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Tronco's Cristiano Soares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 5 minutes into the game, Joaquim Setúbal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tronco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Torqueda the free kick. Joaquim Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Cristiano Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Vale having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Seixas in the 12th minute of play forced Tronco's goalkeeper Luís Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Américo Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliveira Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basílio Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliveira Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd match minute, SC Torqueda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julião Amorim to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Torqueda's zone, Oliveira Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Vargas came out of the goal and Oliveira Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tronco's Luís Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Freitas in the 26th minute of play. Luís Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Seixas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Torqueda getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Horácio Couto hit a great ball. Américo Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Vargas having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Silvano Anjos thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Basílio Vargas, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 3-0. SC Torqueda's Cristiano Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Américo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Seixas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luís Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Salgado's late challenge caught a Tronco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, José Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Américo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Freitas got free with Luís Vale in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Seixas in the 74th minute of play forced Tronco's goalkeeper Luís Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertino Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Santiago Seixas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Silvano Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliveira Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Edgar Vidigal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Alexandre Gomes in the 95th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Basílio Vargas's left hand side.
