Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Américo Quintela to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Giovanni van As's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudemiro Couto was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in CASSETES DE VIALONGA's zone, Higino Prada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Touriz FC reached it. Rui Assunção made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Marcos Zambujal sent off a good shot on target.
