Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vivaldo Vaz got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Adérito Regalado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rúben Padilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Eanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A collision led to Barbershop Joao rui FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Eduardo Malheiro hit a great ball. Eduardo Malheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rúben Padilha came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Barbershop Joao rui FC's Vivaldo Vaz. But to his dismay, Vivaldo Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Pinheirol's zone, Vivaldo Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rúben Padilha came out of the goal and Vivaldo Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, F.C Pinheirol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Caeiro to maneuver through the defense. If Gregório Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Vivaldo Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbershop Joao rui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vivaldo Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rúben Padilha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Barbershop Joao rui FC booed when F.C Pinheirol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Caeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Eduardo Malheiro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of F.C Pinheirol's Rúben Padilha. Rúben Padilha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregório Fontes in the 28th minute of play forced Barbershop Joao rui FC's goalkeeper Adérito Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Barbershop Joao rui FC's Rúben Padilha threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joaquim Queiroga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eduardo Malheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rúben Padilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the F.C Pinheirol defense, Eduardo Malheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rúben Padilha. The F.C Pinheirol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rúben Padilha should have stopped the shot. Eduardo Malheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Rúben Padilha made a huge save. After 40 played minutes Barbershop Joao rui FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Sesimbra. After recieving a nice pass, F.C Pinheirol's Amílcar Ribas tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, F.C Pinheirol's goalkeeper Rúben Padilha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Malheiro. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Barbershop Joao rui FC booed when F.C Pinheirol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Caeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 minutes, Paulo Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barbershop Joao rui FC and the F.C Pinheirol players grew even worse after the yellow card. 3-2 came through a penalty shot after 62 played minutes, when F.C Pinheirol:s Amílcar Ribas calmly waited for Barbershop Joao rui FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. With an all-out effort, F.C Pinheirol's Adérito Guerreiro threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gregório Fontes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Dimas Zambujal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rúben Padilha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Malheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vivaldo Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, F.C Pinheirol's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Malheiro came free, but Rúben Padilha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rúben Padilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nivaldo Moutinho in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Vivaldo Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rúben Padilha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Eduardo Malheiro made a precise shot to the right of Rúben Padilha. F.C Pinheirol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Joaquim Queiroga took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rúben Padilha. Rúben Padilha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. In the 94th minute Eduardo Malheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rúben Padilha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Malheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Rúben Padilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Malheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barbershop Joao rui FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
