Dário Semedo hit a great ball. Luís Ramires came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Raso FC's Miguel Trindade. But to his dismay, Miguel Trindade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ilídio Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilídio Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Trindade in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Ramires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the game, Armando Resende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaia FC the free kick. Armando Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The wind increased when Miguel Trindade made the kick off in the second half. Miguel Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Luís Ramires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, Gaia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Semedo to maneuver through the defense. If Miguel Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Ramires made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Miguel Trindade sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes Gaia FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Mourão. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Trindade got free with Luís Ramires in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Miguel Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Trindade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Ramires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Gaia FC's goalkeeper Luís Ramires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Trindade. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Gaia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Raso FC:s goal. The referee gave Raso FC a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by João Anjos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gaia FC's Luís Ramires. 0-2. A collision led to Raso FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. João Anjos hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Raso FC defense, Ilídio Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Pires. The Raso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Pires should have stopped the shot. Miguel Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
