Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afonso Póvoas started the match with the kick off. 史斐亮 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Adão Gusmão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Augusto Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the game, Afonso Póvoas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Inácio Andrade. Afonso Póvoas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Antero Caneira charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antero Caneira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of JDM Meinedo booed when Motrinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antero Caneira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, JDM Meinedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Adão Gusmão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Cabral in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Motrinos's goal looked a bit too open when 史斐亮 came free, but Adão Gusmão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, JDM Meinedo's goalkeeper Inácio Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Severo. Hermenegildo Lamego was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for JDM Meinedo. André Luz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adão Gusmão. 1-1. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Motrinos's goalkeeper Adão Gusmão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Alberto Barros came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the JDM Meinedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Barros couldn't finish the play. Murilo Antas hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Motrinos's Artur Torres got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, JDM Meinedo's Augusto Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adão Gusmão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half JDM Meinedo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 史斐亮 to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Cristiano Severo sped through JDM Meinedo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Inácio Andrade. Cristiano Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Inácio Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adão Gusmão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 史斐亮, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute of the game Gervásio Sanches made a throw-in which Artur Torres played forward. 史斐亮 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Augusto Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 史斐亮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adão Gusmão having to interfere. Cristiano Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Cristiano Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
