Spectators: 6670 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) Ademar Taborda made the kick off and thus started the match. When Rui Barros came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the SC Mora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Barros couldn't finish the play. If Rui Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, SC Mora's Rui Barros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Tavares. Marcos Tavares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Rui Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Tavares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gervásio Vilar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia de Talentos's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervásio Vilar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Gervásio Vilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Leão hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, SC Mora's Rui Barros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, Academia de Talentos's Ademar Taborda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 minutes of play, SC Mora's João Amaral made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Barros to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Barros in the 52nd minute of play forced Academia de Talentos's goalkeeper Marcos Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Tavares having to interfere. Marcos Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moisés Falcão hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Marcos Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, João Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Ademar Taborda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amadeu Sousa. The goal made the score 3-2. Pedro Ferro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Barros in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Tavares saved Academia de Talentos from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervásio Vilar got free with Amadeu Sousa in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 84 minutes, João Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Mora's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Marcos Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Tavares having to make a save. João Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Mora had played much better football throughout.
