Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Moutinho started the match with the kick off. Fernando Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrício Saraiva having to interfere. Patrício Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Aleixo in the 8th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Guine's Alcino Bandeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rui Guarda. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Patrício Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Moutinho in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Fernando Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mocho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrício Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Patrício Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Alcino Bandeira took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Rui Guarda to make any attempt to save it. Silvestre Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Fernando Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrício Saraiva having to interfere. Pedro Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Guine's zone, Fernando Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrício Saraiva came out of the goal and Fernando Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patrício Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Aleixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Patrício Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Moutinho's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Francisco Aleixo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrício Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Salgado during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Guine's Marcelo Salgado got a free kick in the 39th minute. Fernando Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alcino Bandeira made a kick off. The supporters of Mocho FC booed when SC Guine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the game Raul Porto kicked a great long shot which passed Patrício Saraiva straight ahead into the goal, Result 2-1. One couldn't see Raul Porto behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Francisco Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Patrício Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Óscar Anjos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Guine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Patrício Saraiva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francisco Aleixo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 69 minute of play. Patrício Saraiva made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Francisco Aleixo sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Óscar Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrício Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Moutinho struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Patrício Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mocho FC. After some careless play in the Mocho FC defense, Óscar Anjos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Guarda. The Mocho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Guarda should have stopped the shot. Óscar Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Aleixo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Patrício Saraiva made a huge save. Rui Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alcino Bandeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Mocho FC's Rui Guarda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Marques in the 97th minute of play.
