The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, SC Aguim's Joaquim Amaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Horta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonso Amaro scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Horta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32ndth minute of the game Alexandre Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Marmeleira's Angelo Horta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Horta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Pedro Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Afonso Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joaquim Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonso Amaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afonso Amaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Horta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Amaro ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Marmeleira's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Afonso Amaro 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Marmeleira's goalkeeper Angelo Horta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 61 played minutes SC Marmeleira got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Vides. In the 65th minute Afonso Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Horta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Afonso Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Aguim's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Horta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Joaquim Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the SC Aguim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Amaro couldn't finish the play. Angelo Horta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Amaro in the 78th minute of the match. Angelo Horta was a little too slow when Amadeu Guerreiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-4. The SC Aguim fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when SC Aguim's Joaquim Amaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 87 minutes into the match, SC Aguim's Joaquim Amaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Horta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 90 in the game by Alexandre Rodrigues from a close distance when the talented Angelo Horta managed to make a qualified save. SC Marmeleira's players were relieved. Rafael Fonseca's late challenge caught a SC Marmeleira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Rafael Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
