Pedro Valverdes short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Eurico Caiado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th match minute, SC Pardilho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipólito Delgado to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, SC Pardilho's goalkeeper Eurico Caiado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Valverde. In the 25th minute C.F.F.C. were awarded a corner. Miguel França went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led C.F.F.C.'s Miguel França to fire away a dangerous shot which Eurico Caiado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pedro Valverde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Eurico Caiado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Pardilho getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mário Amaro hit a great ball. If Gastão Domingos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Benedito Miguéis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gastão Domingos, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The wind increased when Manuel Júdice made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Júdice in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurico Caiado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Júdice recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Elias Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pardilho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute Patrício Igrejas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Caiado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Pardilho's Eurico Caiado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Valverde in the 62nd minute of play. Gastão Domingos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Benedito Miguéis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Júdice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Caiado having to interfere.
