Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honorato Vidal started the match with the kick off. Simão Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Zeferino Macena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The supporters of Fontinha FC booed when FC NIKLAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belchior Bulhosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Henrique Aveiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fontinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Henrique Aveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Zeferino Macena made a huge save. Zeferino Macena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heitor Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Aveiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Zeferino Macena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Simão Bessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeferino Macena made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Henrique Aveiro sent off a good shot on target. Zeferino Macena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Aveiro in the 39th minute. In the 44th match minute, Fontinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Leite to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

62 minutes into the match, Fontinha FC's Fabiano Carvalhal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 64 played minutes FC NIKLAS got a freekick which was hit by Belchior Bulhosa. In the 67th minute of the match Fontinha FC got a corner. FC NIKLAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabiano Carvalhal ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Fontinha FC's corner Fabiano Carvalhal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zeferino Macena quite easily take care of the ball. Honorato Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeferino Macena having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, Fontinha FC's Honorato Vidal made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeferino Macena was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Honorato Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Vidal in the 80th minute of play forced FC NIKLAS's goalkeeper Zeferino Macena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Aveiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Zeferino Macena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeferino Macena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Vidal in the 83rd minute of the match. If Honorato Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeferino Macena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Vidal in the 89th minute of play. When Alberto Leite was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Fontinha FC's Alberto Leite got a free kick in the 90th minute. Simão Bessa's late challenge caught a Fontinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Bessa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, FC NIKLAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Bessa to maneuver through the defense. FC NIKLAS's Zeferino Macena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Aveiro in the 96th minute of play.
