But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintino Águas couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, FC NIKLAS's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Viveiros came free, but Zeferino Macena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Quintino Águas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeferino Macena. FC NIKLAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quintino Águas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Quintino Águas scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeferino Macena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Humberto Pestana took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeferino Macena. Zeferino Macena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Zeferino Macena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 36th minute Donato Viveiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeferino Macena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
