The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Guimarães was the one to do the kick off. In the 86th match minute, Sporting Clube de Coimbra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Marques to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Zarco Lamego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zarco Lamego was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael Pinheiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 95 minute of play.
