Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lapela FC's Igor Cerqueira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Estevão Mascarenhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Regatos and the Lapela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes SC Regatos got a freekick which was hit by Estevão Mascarenhas. Adelino Couto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ivan Lameiras. Estevão Mascarenhas hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Graciano Vides in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adelino Couto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Igor Cerqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lapela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Cerqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th match minute, SC Regatos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Igor Cerqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Adelino Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cerqueira in the 14th minute of play. Graciano Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. When Laurentino Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 36th minute, Graciano Vides ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adelino Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Igor Cerqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Couto having to make a save. With a little luck, SC Regatos's Adelino Couto got control of the ball when Graciano Vides tried to sneak it across the goal line. Graciano Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Adelino Couto made a huge save.

The wind increased when Estevão Mascarenhas made the kick off in the second half. If Graciano Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adelino Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Graciano Vides's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute Igor Cerqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SC Regatos getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Guilherme Lopes hit a great ball. Adelino Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Cerqueira's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Igor Cerqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lapela FC's zone, Guilherme Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Queiroga came out of the goal and Guilherme Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Graciano Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Couto having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Igor Cerqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Cerqueira in the 88th minute of play forced SC Regatos's goalkeeper Adelino Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lapela FC booed when SC Regatos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevão Mascarenhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Lapela FC got a corner. SC Regatos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivan Lameiras ran over to the corner to take the kick. Igor Cerqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Adelino Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Cerqueira in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adelino Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lapela FC had won after a very even match.
