Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eirigo FC's Hildeberto Gameiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodrigo Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Hoffmann in the 5th minute of play forced Eirigo FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Hildeberto Gameiro came free, but Vítor Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hildeberto Gameiro in the 10th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Portugal's goalkeeper Vítor Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Clube Portugal's Vitinho Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zbyszko Filipowski scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Severo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sporting Clube Portugal's Vitinho Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Filipowski in the 23rd minute of play. If Vitinho Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antero Junqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Vitinho Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Clube Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitinho Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Vitinho Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Sporting Clube Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitinho Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. Cândido Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Portugal's Alberto Gomes got a free kick in the 34th minute. Rodrigo Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th match minute, Sporting Clube Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Madej to maneuver through the defense. If Hildeberto Gameiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Zbyszko Filipowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Severo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Ricardo Brito hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Eirigo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sporting Clube Portugal were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zbyszko Filipowski made a kick off. Vitinho Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Rodrigo Severo made a huge save. Sporting Clube Portugal's Vitinho Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alcides Aires hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Alberto Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszko Filipowski charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zbyszko Filipowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sporting Clube Portugal getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Zbyszko Filipowski hit a great ball. When Artur Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eirigo FC's protests and gave Artur Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. With his leg Rodrigo Severo managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Sporting Clube Portugal's Vitinho Hoffmann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbyszko Filipowski in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Severo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 74 played minutes Zbyszko Filipowski rounded Eirigo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Sporting Clube Portugal made a substitution. Cristiano Viegas replaced Rui Fonseca. Vítor Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Faria in the 80th minute of play. Eirigo FC's Antero Junqueira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vítor Martins in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Rodrigo Severo managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Sporting Clube Portugal's Zbyszko Filipowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sporting Clube Portugal's Vitinho Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zbyszko Filipowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sporting Clube Portugal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
