Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Monfirre's Paulo Carvalho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Humberto Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Monfirre's Diamantino Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Mruk in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Monfirre's goalkeeper Diamantino Aguiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Fontes. Bernardo Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Maciej Mruk made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Monfirre's Diamantino Aguiar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Diamantino Aguiar was a little too slow when Maciej Mruk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. Eusébio Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maciej Mruk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Diamantino Aguiar managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when SC Malvar's Maciej Mruk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Maciej Mruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monfirre's goalkeeper Diamantino Aguiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Aguiar having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maciej Mruk made a kick off. In the 54th minute Maciej Mruk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, SC Malvar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernardo Almeida fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Fontes in the 63rd minute of play forced Monfirre's goalkeeper Diamantino Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Maciej Mruk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monfirre's Diamantino Aguiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Gustavo Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Monfirre defense, Cristiano Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino Aguiar. The Monfirre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino Aguiar should have stopped the shot. When SC Malvar's Maciej Mruk in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monfirre's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Maciej Mruk sped through Monfirre's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diamantino Aguiar. After a rather tough play, Monfirre's Fábio Silva got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to Monfirre getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bernardo Almeida hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, SC Malvar's goalkeeper Pedro Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusébio Nunes. 90 minutes into the match, Maciej Mruk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino Aguiar. Monfirre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maciej Mruk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. When the referee ended the match the SC Malvar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
