Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Diamantino Neto came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Kerigma FC's Amílcar Poças. But to his dismay, Amílcar Poças quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Inácio Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Diamantino Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Amílcar Poças had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino Neto. Costeira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amílcar Poças was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Inácio Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Neto having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amílcar Poças got free with Diamantino Neto in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Carvalho's late challenge caught a Kerigma FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costeira FC's Pedro Carvalho got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 20th match minute, Costeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Pires to maneuver through the defense. When Inácio Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Kerigma FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Coutinho couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílcar Poças during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Kerigma FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Poças. Amílcar Poças struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Diamantino Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kerigma FC. Diamantino Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Bulhosa having to interfere. In the 36th minute Diamantino Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Bulhosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Diamantino Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costeira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Costeira FC booed when Kerigma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Sandro Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fábio Bulhosa was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. If Diamantino Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Inácio Coutinho made the kick off in the second half. Fábio Bulhosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Cunha in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Cunha in the 54th minute of play forced Kerigma FC's goalkeeper Fábio Bulhosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Fábio Bulhosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Bulhosa made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Sandro Vale sent off a good shot on target. Sandro Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Inácio Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kerigma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Miguel Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Kerigma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Soares to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Bulhosa made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Sandro Vale sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Kerigma FC's zone, Miguel Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Bulhosa came out of the goal and Miguel Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amílcar Poças sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goalkeeper, Fábio Bulhosa, was totally fooled by Costeira FC's Sebastião Pires, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 91 minutes, Luís Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costeira FC and the Kerigma FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Costeira FC's Diamantino Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Poças in the 92nd minute of play. Sandro Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Bulhosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. If Miguel Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costeira FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Kerigma FC had won, even though Costeira FC had held more of the ball.
