Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Marques started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Afonso Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. António Henriques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lisboa United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Rui Marques scored to the left of an out of position Cláudio Reis, making the score, 1-2. António Henriques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Ramos went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Lisboa United booed when Frazoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Matias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lisboa United's İlmi Hatim got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heitor Costa hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Afonso Ramos notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Frazoes's António Henriques. António Henriques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Lisboa United were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Ramos was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Afonso Porto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of António Henriques, 1-6. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Afonso Ramos took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for António Henriques to make any attempt to save it. Afonso Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Afonso Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Matias charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Matias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Frazoes's Marco Matias got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Frazoes's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Ramos came free, but António Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Afonso Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Lisboa United defense, Rui Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cláudio Reis. The Lisboa United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cláudio Reis should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by İlmi Hatim got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cláudio Reis came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Frazoes's Rui Marques. But to his dismay, Rui Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-7. Marco Matias hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Lisboa United's İlmi Hatim got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when İlmi Hatim got free with António Henriques in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afonso Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Henriques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. When Marco Matias was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. 94 minutes into the match, Frazoes's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Ramos came free, but António Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
