Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Nascimento started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Telhadouro's zone, Rodrigo Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolau Sarmento came out of the goal and Rodrigo Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucílio Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Rodrigo Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SC Telhadouro's Nicolau Sarmento got control of the ball when Joel Porto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolau Sarmento didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Nicolau Sarmento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. SC Telhadouro's Nicolau Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Oliveira in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, SC Passarela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Porto to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the game, Lucílio Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Telhadouro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Passarela the free kick. The supporters of SC Passarela booed when SC Telhadouro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucílio Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Nicolau Sarmento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Passarela. In the 39thth minute of the game Rodrigo Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Telhadouro's Nicolau Sarmento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolau Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Porto in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Passarela's Rui Freitas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolau Sarmento. That made the score 2-0 after 44 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Oliveira to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Marco Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Telhadouro and the SC Passarela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Passarela booed when SC Telhadouro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marco Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Figueiras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Alfredo Coimbra made a huge save. Alfredo Coimbra didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Alfredo Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Nascimento in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Passarela's Rui Freitas got a free kick in the 80th minute. Alfredo Coimbra acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Laércio Barcelos. Marco Nascimento took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Coimbra. Alfredo Coimbra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Nicolau Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Coimbra having to interfere.
