Soutelinho FC's Amado Raposo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Soutelinho FC from getting a goal against them. João Ferreira got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-0 in the right cross in the 37th match minute before Amado Raposo had time to react. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When Mário Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soutelinho FC's protests and gave Mário Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Soutelinho FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mário Araújo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, David Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alfornelos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Raposo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, David Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Ronaldo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute David Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Raposo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfornelos FC's João Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Soutelinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Ribeiro came free, but Amado Raposo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Ribeiro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. João Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Raposo having to interfere. Alfornelos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
