G.D.os Boémios's Reinaldo Valadão got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandrino Torres in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the G.D.os Boémios defense, Tomás Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Sacadura. The G.D.os Boémios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Sacadura should have stopped the shot. The ONZE NERVOSOS fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when ONZE NERVOSOS's Gilles Authier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the game, Gilles Authier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gil Sacadura. Gilles Authier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 31 minutes into the match, ONZE NERVOSOS's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Valadão came free, but Nuno Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilles Authier scored 4-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Sacadura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gil Sacadura didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. In the 41st minute, ONZE NERVOSOS's Gilles Authier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gil Sacadura. Gil Sacadura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. After 44 minutes, Pascoal Meireles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G.D.os Boémios and the ONZE NERVOSOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Pascoal Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reinaldo Valadão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gil Sacadura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Viegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. G.D.os Boémios's Gil Sacadura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Viegas in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in G.D.os Boémios's zone, Gilles Authier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Sacadura came out of the goal and Gilles Authier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Gilles Authier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G.D.os Boémios's Gil Sacadura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gil Sacadura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilles Authier in the 65th minute of play. Sebastião Quinaz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. ONZE NERVOSOS's Gonçalo Azevedo was substituted for Manuel Brito. 66 minutes into the game, one of G.D.os Boémios:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave ONZE NERVOSOS a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gonçalo Azevedo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of G.D.os Boémios's Gil Sacadura. 8-0. Tomás Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Sacadura having to interfere. With a little luck, ONZE NERVOSOS's Nuno Cabral got control of the ball when Alexandrino Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Gilles Authier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ONZE NERVOSOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilles Authier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ONZE NERVOSOS made a substitution. Joaquim Santos replaced José Machado. André Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Gilles Authier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Sacadura having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ONZE NERVOSOS had played much better football throughout.
