Spectators: 7145 (Terracing: 5469, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Gomesano in the 6th minute of play forced Paneladas's goalkeeper Gregório Baía to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Gregório Baía made a huge save. After having played for 9 minutes, Luís Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arcozelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arcozelo FC's Vasco Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Moita in the 18th minute of play. Paneladas's Gregório Baía proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Paneladas from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Luís Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arcozelo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Luís Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Gregório Baía didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arcozelo FC. Daniel Fontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregório Baía read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Vasco Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Daniel Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregório Baía was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Luís Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregório Baía having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Lourenço Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Arcozelo FC's Carlos Gomesano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gregório Baía. That made the score 4-0 after 48 minutes of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Rodrigues made a kick off. In the 55th minute Pedro Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregório Baía saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paneladas's zone, Vítor Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregório Baía came out of the goal and Vítor Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasco Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Luís Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregório Baía was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 69th match minute, Paneladas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Rodrigues in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregório Baía prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gregório Baía tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luís Rodrigues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregório Baía was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Vasco Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Figueira in the 80th minute of the match. Carlos Gomesano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gregório Baía tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Vasco Setúbal made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Matias Azenha sent off a good shot on target. Vasco Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Moita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Arcozelo FC had played much better football throughout.
