The MegATropas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quintino Veloso should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the game, Godel FC's Duarte Pedroso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quintino Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Godel FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Carlos Noronha scored to the left of an out of position Cristóvão Pinheiro, making the score, 1-2. If Olívio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quintino Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Pedroso in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, MegATropas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Marinho to maneuver through the defense. If Albertino Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Salgueiro during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, one of MegATropas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MegATropas. Daniel Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintino Veloso having to interfere. Vicente Marinho hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes, Godel FC's Bento Machado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Quintino Veloso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Godel FC reached it. Albertino Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Godel FC's goalkeeper Cristóvão Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olívio Nogueira. Quintino Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Pedroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. MegATropas's Quintino Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Pedroso in the 43rd minute of play. Cristóvão Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Noronha in the 46th minute of the match. Duarte Pedroso hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The MegATropas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Godel FC were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Noronha to strike the kick off in the second half. 64 minutes into the match, MegATropas's Olívio Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristóvão Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, MegATropas's Carlos Noronha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristóvão Pinheiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 81st minute, Olívio Nogueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. After a rather tough play, MegATropas's Alípio Lobato got a free kick in the 85th minute. Godel FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bento Machado in the 88th minute. The supporters of Godel FC booed when MegATropas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Salgueiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godel FC's Bento Machado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MegATropas. MegATropas's Quintino Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save MegATropas from getting a goal against them. Albertino Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Quintino Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
