Octávio Valadão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Coelho having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Cássio Rijo made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Coelho. Alhandra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 28th minute, Domingos Rangel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Coelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Alhandra FC booed when FZZ Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Rangel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Domingues hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Octávio Valadão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Armando Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Rijo in the 49th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Carlos Pacheco made the kick off in the second half. Alhandra FC's André Viana got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. A collision led to FZZ Sport Club getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Domingos Rangel hit a great ball. Jorge Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octávio Valadão in the 81st minute of the match. If Domingos Rangel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th play minute Domingos Rangel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Coelho. 2-4. Álvaro Taborda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
