Pedro Pacheco came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by portugal's Júlio Luz. But to his dismay, Júlio Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Semitela booed when portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Resende didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes, Emílio Pedroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Semitela and the portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of portugal booed when Semitela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Aguiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
