Hugo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Paião, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. SC Fanhais's João Póvoas got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Santana in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Póvoas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 79th minute João Póvoas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Balsemão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Balsemão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Póvoas in the 90th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
