Simão Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C.Olival's Simão Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.Olival from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Jorge Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simão Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Severiano in the 13th minute of the match. When F.C.Olival's Álvaro Aguiar in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 24th minute, Álvaro Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albérico Quintela was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 28 played minutes Espevitados FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Peralta. Jorge Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albérico Quintela having to make a save. Simão Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Severiano in the 33rd minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, F.C.Olival's Cláudio Paiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albérico Quintela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ademar Salvado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simão Lopes. That made the score 2-2 in the 45 minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Severiano to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Álvaro Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cláudio Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albérico Quintela having to interfere. F.C.Olival's Henri Toth was substituted for Jorge Paiva. After some careless play in the F.C.Olival defense, Augusto Severiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simão Lopes. The F.C.Olival fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simão Lopes should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, F.C.Olival's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Quinaz came free, but Simão Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, F.C.Olival was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Mota to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Joel Quinaz made a precise shot to the right of Simão Lopes. F.C.Olival's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. 80 minutes into the match, Espevitados FC's goalkeeper Albérico Quintela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Álvaro Aguiar.
