The referee ignored SCB DESDE 1921's protests and gave Manuel Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Manuel Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Pedro Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCB DESDE 1921's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Pedro Brito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Escurquela's Tiago Portela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Patrício França was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Escurquela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SCB DESDE 1921 the free kick. The supporters of SCB DESDE 1921 booed when SC Escurquela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício França didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Araújo made a kick off. If Pedro Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Portela having to interfere. Zarco Estrela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the SC Escurquela defense, Pedro Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Portela. The SC Escurquela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Portela should have stopped the shot. Tiago Portela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SCB DESDE 1921 had played much better football throughout.
