Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Vilas Boas in the 5th minute of play forced Apiao FC's goalkeeper Torcato Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Tinoco might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Chagas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adelino Tinoco ran back to his position shaking his head. When Quintino Pestana came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Apiao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintino Pestana couldn't finish the play. Angelo Vilas Boas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torcato Montenegro having to interfere. Quintino Pestana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Vicente Braga sped through Apiao FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torcato Montenegro. 29 minutes into the match, Adelino Tinoco notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Juncal FC's Gabriel Chagas. Gabriel Chagas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Igor Valente hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Torcato Sacramento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Gama kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Nélson Lobo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Chagas skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Juncal FC booed when Apiao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Ramires didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Angelo Vilas Boas came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Juncal FC fans jumped to their feet. After 53 minutes Juncal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nélson Lobo who took care of the corner kick. Germano Rios made a great header on Apiao FC's corner, it was just that Juncal FC's Gabriel Chagas managed to reach the ball for a save. When Germano Rios in the 54th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gabriel Chagas kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 57th match minute, Juncal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Braga to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Apiao FC's Nélson Lobo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Torcato Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Vilas Boas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Adelino Tinoco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Gabriel Chagas made a huge save. In the 71stth minute of the game Angelo Vilas Boas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apiao FC's Torcato Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Yuri Ramires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apiao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Ramires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Chagas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when Quintino Pestana in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 76 minutes, Pedro Gama mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juncal FC and the Apiao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Apiao FC booed when Juncal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Gama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quintino Pestana struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gabriel Chagas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apiao FC. In the 79th match minute, Juncal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Valente to maneuver through the defense. Viriato Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Torcato Montenegro came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Juncal FC's Angelo Vilas Boas. But to his dismay, Angelo Vilas Boas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Vicente Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juncal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torcato Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Gama during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 95 minutes into the game, one of Juncal FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
