Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) André Matias started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, David Resende recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucas Monsanto. David Resende showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Vítor Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Rúben Costa, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 10th match minute, Tavira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Cunha to maneuver through the defense. İldeniz Mesut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rúben Costa in the 11th minute of play. Vítor Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Monsanto having to interfere. Veríssimo Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veríssimo Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Veríssimo Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lucas Monsanto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, André Matias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucas Monsanto. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Vítor Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Monsanto. Melgacense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Angélico Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İldeniz Mesut having to interfere. Melgacense FC's Angélico Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Timóteo Salgueiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tavira FC's zone, Angélico Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İldeniz Mesut came out of the goal and Angélico Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melgacense FC's Lucas Monsanto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Melgacense FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Timóteo Salgueiro made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Vítor Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Monsanto. Melgacense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Melgacense FC's Lucas Monsanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Resende in the 56th minute of play. Vítor Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Melgacense FC defense, André Matias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Monsanto. The Melgacense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Monsanto should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Angélico Cortez could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which İldeniz Mesut however easily saved by the left post. Angélico Cortez struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. İldeniz Mesut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melgacense FC. After having played for 84 minutes, Timóteo Salgueiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melgacense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timóteo Salgueiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Matias in the 86th minute of play forced Melgacense FC's goalkeeper Lucas Monsanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, André Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tavira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Matias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angélico Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. İldeniz Mesut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Tavira FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
