With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xavier Faro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Daniel Martins skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 69th minute, Luís Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
