Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Vasco Cabral started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Constantim FC's Humberto Mourão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Constantim FC from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute Eduardo Eanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Mourão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Mourão came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting CP's João Ramos. But to his dismay, João Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Humberto Mourão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasco Cabral's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. João Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Humberto Mourão made a huge save. Emanuel Pedroso hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Humberto Mourão came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting CP's João Ramos. But to his dismay, João Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Vasco Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Mourão having to interfere. João Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Humberto Mourão made a huge save. João Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Cabral did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Humberto Mourão 35 minutes into the match. 4-0 became the score in the 39th minute when João Ramos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, João Ramos took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Humberto Mourão to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Eanes was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Sporting CP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Cabral to maneuver through the defense. João Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Constantim FC defense, Vasco Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Mourão. The Constantim FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Mourão should have stopped the shot. After 60 minutes of play, Sporting CP's Vasco Cabral made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Mourão was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute João Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Mourão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Eanes in the 64th minute of play forced Sporting CP's goalkeeper José Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, Sporting CP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílcar Andrade to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Emanuel Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Vasco Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting CP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sporting CP fully deserved thier win.
