Diamantino Branco made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when David Baptista sent off a good shot on target. Diamantino Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Álvaro Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FantastiK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Nunes couldn't finish the play. After 20 played minutes FantastiK FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Santarém. The long shot by Joel Moniz in the 21st minute really tested Diamantino Branco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bruno Assunção struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Francisco Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FantastiK FC. Hélder Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Diamantino Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, FantastiK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Porto to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Brás charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Brás the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Bruno Assunção's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Nunes was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Diamantino Branco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joel Moniz. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Assunção stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Saravigoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Brás to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Assis in the 62nd minute of the match. If Bruno Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. FantastiK FC's Diamantino Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Lima in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Bruno Assunção reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francisco Nunes. The goal made the score 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Assunção got free with Francisco Nunes in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Nunes was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Bruno Assunção capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Assunção really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. David Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Branco having to interfere. Bruno Assunção who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Francisco Nunes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
