The audience thought a goal was coming when Viriato Almeida got free with Igor Jafumega in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Lapas FC's Igor Jafumega threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eusébio Teixeira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Igor Jafumega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A hard shot 13 in the game by Dorival Freire from a close distance when the talented Igor Jafumega managed to make a qualified save. vitoria fc's players were relieved. Lapas FC's Joaquim Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Coelho in the 15th minute of play. Igor Jafumega stood somewhat misplaced when Eusébio Teixeira came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 26 minute. Joaquim Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Lapas FC's Joaquim Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Kaczorowski in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, vitoria fc's goalkeeper Igor Jafumega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorival Freire. Igor Jafumega made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Viriato Almeida sent off a good shot on target. Igor Jafumega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Freire in the 39th minute of play. Joaquim Amorim came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by vitoria fc's António Coelho. But to his dismay, António Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Igor Jafumega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Almeida in the 45th minute. When Viriato Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Lapas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viriato Almeida couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliusz Kaczorowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, António Coelho made a precise shot to the right of Joaquim Amorim. Lapas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Igor Jafumega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Almeida in the 57th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Lapas FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Coelho came free, but Joaquim Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to vitoria fc getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Januário Urbano hit a great ball. If João Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iuri Zacariotto during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iuri Zacariotto hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lapas FC booed when vitoria fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iuri Zacariotto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in vitoria fc's zone, Viriato Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Jafumega came out of the goal and Viriato Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Joaquim Amorim made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Eusébio Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. vitoria fc's Igor Jafumega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Almeida in the 89th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Dorival Freire notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of vitoria fc's Igor Jafumega. Igor Jafumega was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lapas FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
