After recieving a nice pass, SC Godel's David Bessa tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, Zeferino Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pedro Porto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the match, Manhente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Salvado came free, but Pedro Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Salvado, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Pedro Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Salvado in the 27th minute of the match. João Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After the first half SC Godel were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Américo Salvado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Manhente FC's goalkeeper Pedro Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Salvado. Américo Salvado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Pedro Porto made a huge save. The long shot by Hermano Gago in the 67th minute really tested Pedro Porto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 68 minutes into the game, Manhente FC's Ricardo Soares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Paredes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If António Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, SC Godel's Américo Salvado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers António Garcia in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Paredes saved SC Godel from getting behind. Rodolfo Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Garcia struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Rodolfo Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manhente FC. After some careless play in the SC Godel defense, António Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Paredes. The SC Godel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Paredes should have stopped the shot.
