Spectators: 7165 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Douglas Ortiz got the match started through his kick off. Hendrik Harand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Vladimiro Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SC Paniceiro booed when Meixedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Estrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas Ortiz during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Douglas Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Valente came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Paniceiro's Paulo Matias. But to his dismay, Paulo Matias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vladimiro Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Vladimiro Valente throw himself and got hold of the ball when Douglas Ortiz in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 20 played minutes, Meixedos's Jerónimo Couto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tiago Matias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meixedos reached it. After 20 minutes, Jorge Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Paniceiro and the Meixedos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiago Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, SC Paniceiro's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Falcão came free, but Tiago Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meixedos's Vladimiro Valente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Meixedos from getting a goal against them. SC Paniceiro's Paulo Matias got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Hendrik Harand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vladimiro Valente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiago Matias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandro Couto went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Brandão was the one to do the kick off. Sandro Couto's late challenge caught a SC Paniceiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Couto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Paniceiro booed when Meixedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 58 minutes on the clock, Carlos Mendes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of SC Paniceiro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Meixedos:s goal. Douglas Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Valente having to interfere. Paulo Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Falcão's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiago Matias firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicente Brandão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiago Matias. That made the score 2-3 in the 71 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Douglas Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Paniceiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Meixedos's Vladimiro Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Cunha in the 79th minute of play. Douglas Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Valente having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Miguel Falcão made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Matias. SC Paniceiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After a rather tough play, Meixedos's Lúcio Moniz got a free kick in the 89th minute. Paulo Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Vladimiro Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
