But to his dismay, Paulo Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jorge Anjos made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Artur Freitas sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, Vidual's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Leal came free, but Jorge Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Honorato Quintas in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's Eusébio Barbosa. 15 minutes into the game, BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's Eusébio Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Anjos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Artur Freitas struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jorge Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM. Paulo Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Parente, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Artur Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Artur Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Freitas couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Simões succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 33rd playminute. Artur Freitas struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute, Joaquim Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 49 minutes into the match, BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's Paulo Leal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Anjos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Simões in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Anjos saved Vidual from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Eusébio Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Anjos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Joaquim Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Anjos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Leal's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's Paulo Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Vidual's zone, Paulo Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Anjos came out of the goal and Paulo Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dércio Ramires hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Artur Freitas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Jorge Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Freitas in the 82nd minute of the match. Vidual's Flávio Parente got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jorge Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Artur Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Simões blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Anjos having to make a save. If Eusébio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dércio Ramires kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. There was no doubt that BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM were the better team. BAR ATLANTIS CASTRO MARIM's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
