Isac Garcez hit a great ball. In the 7th match minute, Armação United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Januário Mourão to maneuver through the defense. Soroes FC's Amável Leiria got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amável Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Isac Garcez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Armação United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soroes FC the free kick. Isac Garcez hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Saraiva in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Américo Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Américo Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Saraiva in the 95th minute of play. Delfim Lobato's late challenge caught a Soroes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delfim Lobato helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Soroes FC booed when Armação United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Lobato didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Soroes FC fully deserved thier win.
