Américo Henriques charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Henriques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, fire20's Américo Henriques got a free kick in the 15th minute. Mariano Correia made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Torgny Rydberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of fire20 booed when Nuno Clube de Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torgny Rydberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Mariano Correia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Sebastião Viana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nuno Clube de Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 38 minutes into the game, Álvaro Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Bernardo Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastião Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bernardo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Clube de Portugal's Mariano Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Nuno Clube de Portugal from getting a goal against them. After the first half Nuno Clube de Portugal were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torgny Rydberg was the one to do the kick off. After 59 minutes, Torgny Rydberg made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Nuno Clube de Portugal's Mariano Correia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Magalhães was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastião Viana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 85 minute of play. Sebastião Viana came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bernardo Magalhães could save by the left post. When the final whistle went the supporters of Nuno Clube de Portugal were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant fire20 side.
