An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Abreu in the 19th minute of play forced the revenge of peak unit's goalkeeper Emílio Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Zdzislaw Madajczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the the revenge of peak unit and the SC Comunhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Resende was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alexandre Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Veiga having to interfere. In the 30th minute, the revenge of peak unit's Hieronim Boruta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Morais. Marco Morais yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 33 played minutes SC Comunhas got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Setúbal. After 35th play minutes Hieronim Boruta shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Marco Morais and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 39th minute Hieronim Boruta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Magalhães scored 4-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Morais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Morais stood somewhat misplaced when Hieronim Boruta came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute. The supporters of the revenge of peak unit booed when SC Comunhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Marco Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Morais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Cláudio Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Hieronim Boruta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sandro Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. the revenge of peak unit had played much better football throughout.
