Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) SC Comunhas's Alexandre Trindade started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquim Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre Trindade kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viriato Pedroso. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. If Aparício Lobato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cândido Abreu in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Viriato Pedroso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 28 minutes, Joaquim Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Mesas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Morais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aparício Lobato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Aparício Lobato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Bezerra in the 33rd minute of play. When Serafim Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the SC Mesas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafim Bezerra couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Aparício Lobato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Morais was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Alexandre Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aparício Lobato succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 60th playminute. Serafim Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marco Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aparício Lobato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Serafim Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes, Emílio Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Comunhas and the SC Mesas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serafim Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Mesas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
