Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Domingos Figueiredo kicked off to start the match. Sobreleites FC's Artur Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Pinto in the 7th minute of play forced Figueirosa FC's goalkeeper Afonso Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sobreleites FC! Cristóvão Moutinho shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustavo Pinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afonso Machado. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Figueirosa FC's Fernando Veiga made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simão Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute Artur Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 37 in the game by Sandro Reis from a close distance when the talented Afonso Machado managed to make a qualified save. Figueirosa FC's players were relieved. Fernando Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Figueirosa FC's Afonso Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Nunes in the 44th minute of play. Simão Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Figueirosa FC were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Sobreleites FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristóvão Moutinho took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Afonso Moniz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Nunes made a kick off. If Augusto Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Veiga went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Afonso Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Nunes in the 65th minute of the match. Domingos Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Simão Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Nunes in the 77th minute of the match. Manuel Magalhães hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Domingos Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Domingos Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Figueirosa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. Afonso Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Reis in the 97th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Borges in the 98th minute of play forced Figueirosa FC's goalkeeper Afonso Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Figueirosa FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
