When Delfim Ponte fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moinas F.C.'s protests and gave Delfim Ponte a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Moinas F.C.'s Delfim Ponte got a free kick in the 19th minute. David Valente made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Kevin Henriques sent off a good shot on target. If Idalécio Graça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Valente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Henriques went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. FC PORTO DRAGON FORCE's Anselmo Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Valente having to interfere. Anselmo Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Paiva struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Dário Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moinas F.C.. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Henriques got free with David Valente in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC PORTO DRAGON FORCE's goalkeeper Dário Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Guerra to strike the kick off in the second half. Heitor Regueira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Moinas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Gueifão came free, but David Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Ponte was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of FC PORTO DRAGON FORCE booed when Moinas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Ponte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes, Anselmo Guerra made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Moinas F.C.'s David Valente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. One of FC PORTO DRAGON FORCE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Moinas F.C.:s goal. 82 minutes into the match, FC PORTO DRAGON FORCE's Tobias Albuquerque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Valente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Idalécio Graça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Idalécio Graça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moinas F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Idalécio Graça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dário Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Idalécio Graça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
