Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Vieira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes, SC Pedrulheira's Gil Brito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrício Vidigal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Pedrulheira reached it. If Pedro Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Ventosa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Pedrulheira:s goal. Delfim Bessa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 19 minutes into the game, André Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Pedrulheira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ventosa the free kick. André Nunes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Patrício Vidigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Armando Borba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrício Vidigal. Ventosa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Borba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Armando Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrício Vidigal having to interfere. Vicente Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrício Vidigal having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Vicente Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Borba in the 45th minute of play forced Ventosa's goalkeeper Patrício Vidigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrício Vidigal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Borba in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half SC Pedrulheira were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Patrício Vidigal made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Vicente Maia sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Soeiro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Armando Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrício Vidigal having to interfere. SC Pedrulheira's Emílio Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Roriz in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ventosa's zone, Vicente Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrício Vidigal came out of the goal and Vicente Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SC Pedrulheira booed when Ventosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Regalado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Delfim Bessa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ventosa's Patrício Vidigal didn't even have to move. Vicente Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrício Vidigal having to interfere. Patrício Vidigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vicente Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Borba in the 85th minute of play forced Ventosa's goalkeeper Patrício Vidigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivaldo Regalado during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Ventosa got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Regalado. Emílio Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Roriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded SC Pedrulheira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ventosa.
