Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Vale kicked off to start the match. António Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Caires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diogo Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jairo Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, the best's João Jesus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. António Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jairo Ferraz came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ermezinde FC's Diogo Guarda. But to his dismay, Diogo Guarda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Ermezinde FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rogério Assunção hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Tomé Caires notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ermezinde FC's António Cabral. António Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If João Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Tomé Caires notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ermezinde FC's António Cabral. António Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adão Dias's late challenge caught a Ermezinde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adão Dias helped the player get up and apologised.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomé Caires to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolau Alcântara shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Diogo Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that João Jesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Cabral was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. A hard shot by Adão Dias from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got António Cabral's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Vale in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Ferraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ermezinde FC booed when the best was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Guterres didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Caires in the 71st minute of play forced Ermezinde FC's goalkeeper António Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Caires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. António Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, the best's Tomé Caires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Diogo Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. the best's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
