Pardinhas FC's Hélder Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Pardinhas FC from getting a goal against them. João Carneiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pascoal Eiró could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in FC Vinagre's zone, Alexandre Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascoal Eiró came out of the goal and Alexandre Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd match minute, FC Vinagre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Queiroga to maneuver through the defense. João Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascoal Eiró having to interfere. Pardinhas FC's Alexandre Andrade collided with an opponent after 97 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his nose and had to leave the field. 98 minutes into the game, Sílvio Bessa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Vinagre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pardinhas FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of FC Vinagre:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pardinhas FC:s goal. Viriato Andrade walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Pardinhas FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
