Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Vargem's Mateus Loureiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luana FC's Ingemar Nyberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Luana FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Luana FC's Ingemar Nyberg got control of the ball when Humberto Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honorato Conde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolis Ladas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute, Humberto Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Manolis Ladas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Conde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Humberto Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorato Conde. Vargem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ingemar Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 27 played minutes Luana FC got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Dantas. Vargem's Mateus Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Maciel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingemar Nyberg having to make a save. Honorato Conde came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Luana FC's Manolis Ladas. But to his dismay, Manolis Ladas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Humberto Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Conde was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolis Ladas in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Conde saved Vargem from getting behind. Luana FC's Ingemar Nyberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Luana FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Luana FC's Ingemar Nyberg got control of the ball when Humberto Maciel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Geraldo Lisboa in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Luana FC's Alberto Machado. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Manolis Ladas took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Honorato Conde to make any attempt to save it. 68 minutes into the game, Abel Barroso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Luana FC's Alberto Machado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Manolis Ladas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Honorato Conde made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Luana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Maciel came free, but Ingemar Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manolis Ladas in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Honorato Conde, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Humberto Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Conde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Mateus Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Nyberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manolis Ladas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Honorato Conde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Maciel in the 79th minute of play forced Luana FC's goalkeeper Ingemar Nyberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Santiago hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Alberto Machado fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luana FC's protests and gave Alberto Machado a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Luana FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Machado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolis Ladas in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Conde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Honorato Conde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Manolis Ladas sped through Vargem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Honorato Conde. When the final whistle sounded Luana FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vargem.
