Sporting de Loures's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Emanuel Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Aprígio Lencastre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bustelos FC's zone, Emanuel Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aprígio Lencastre came out of the goal and Emanuel Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Emanuel Lima came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Sporting de Loures fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Lima couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, Bustelos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Moniz to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Aprígio Lencastre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aprígio Lencastre. That made the score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Normando Caetano during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bustelos FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Normando Caetano hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bustelos FC's Aprígio Lencastre got control of the ball when Vítor Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 68 minutes, Belchior Assunção mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bustelos FC and the Sporting de Loures players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bustelos FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Belchior Assunção hit a great ball. Bustelos FC's Aprígio Lencastre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Lima in the 70th minute of play. Emanuel Lima blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aprígio Lencastre having to make a save. Belchior Assunção got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The referee gave Sporting de Loures a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bento Moutinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bustelos FC's Aprígio Lencastre. 1-2. Silvestre Lamego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Coimbra having to interfere. Sporting de Loures's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
