After a defensive mix-up in Bravo FC's zone, Manuel Setúbal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viriato Sacadura came out of the goal and Manuel Setúbal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bravo FC's Viriato Sacadura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Bravo FC from getting a goal against them. Viriato Sacadura was a little too slow when Blanche Caffey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Damião Sabrosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernest Fânaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ernest Fânaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damião Sabrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Damião Sabrosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernest Fânaru. AKADEMIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damião Sabrosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Viriato Sacadura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AKADEMIK's 史瑜岩 was substituted for Manuel Setúbal. Viriato Sacadura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lourenço Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Viriato Sacadura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute 史瑜岩 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Sacadura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bravo FC defense, 史瑜岩 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Sacadura. The Bravo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Sacadura should have stopped the shot.
