Pomba's Hélder Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Aveiro in the 23rd minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Armindo Morais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Contim's Roberto Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Armindo Morais made the kick off in the second half. In the 73rd minute, Hélder Guarda made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Varela. Contim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 79th minute, Nuno Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
